Who is this article for?
You may wish to edit who is notified of a user's Open Issues. This could be because a previous DSE staff member has left your organisation, because your dedicated Health and Safety/DSE team has changed email address, or because a question is not currently set to notify anyone of an Open Issue. This article will walk you through how to edit these fields.
1. Navigate to the Assessment Configuration page via the following route - Management System > Company > Global Assessment Settings > Edit Assessment > Select the Assessment you wish to edit from the drop-down menu.
2a. If you know which section you need to update the notified party in, please go to step 3. If you do not know which section references the email address, you can export the assessment to check this. Select Export Assessment at the top of your page. This will export a CSV file showing how this assessment is set up
2b. Open your CSV file and use the Ctrl + F function to find the original email address you wish to update. This will show you which sections contain the original email address. You can see the section name by scrolling to the far left of the file.
3. Select the Answer you wish to update the email address to by going Section > Question > Answer Text, and once updated click Save Action (You can right-click on the gif and Open in a new tab for a clearer view of this step).
4. Repeat for any other Sections the original email address has been referenced.
These changes will take affect for users completing the assessment from this point on. For any users who already selected these answers prior to the update, the email would still be sent to the original address.
