Who is this article for?Client Administrators who will be able to view Open Issues/add notes for ALL users on the system.
Client Managers will only be able to view Open Issues/add notes to users users within the group they are responsible for.
This article will show you how to update the status of 'Open Issues', and how to bulk add notes to users. This can be done either individually via the Users profile or via the Management System Dashboard.
An Open Issue is something that is raised by a user when taking their assessment for a particular course. Depending on how your assessment is set up, the Open Issue could relate to anything from a problem with their physical work equipment, to ailments caused to an individual from using their equipment, to Feedback given by a user.
Updating 'Open Issues' and adding notes via a users profile
To update an Open Issue for an individual user, first go to the Management System, and then select User from the menu on the left. You will be able to search for the users email address in the search bar at the top of this page. Then select 'View Training' to view their training timeline
Then use the Course drop down box in the top right corner to select the course that you wish to view the open issues for, for the purpose of this example we are selecting AssessRite 3.0
Several of our standard courses include an assessment at the end. These include AssessRite, AssessRite 3.0, Agile Working and Home Workers. You will need to make sure you select the correct course you wish to view the assessment for from this menu.
You will then be taken to that users training timeline for that particular course. Once you are here, please select to View the assessment report
This will take you to an Assessment Report page with four different tabs. You can click on the Issues tab
which will show the Open Issues at the top of the page with a status of Not Started
Here you can select the drop down menu to update the status to In Progress or Closed, and then press 'Update Status'.
You can add a note to the users profile by selecting Show Notes, typing up your note in the text box below and selecting Add Note
Updating 'Open Issues' and adding notes via the Management System Dashboard
You can also bulk perform these actions via the Dashboard. To do this simply select Management System.
You can select the relevant course you wish to view Open Issues for from the Data for: drop down menu. For this article we will look at issues raised in the AssessRite 3.0 assessment
If you only have one course which contains an assessment then your Dashboard will default to this when you go to the Management System. If you have multiple courses with assessments then you will be able to select the relevant one from the drop down.
You will see a pie chart showing the top 3 users with open issues for this assessment.
You can then click the link Click here to view issues for this assessment which will take you to an Assessment Issues Report showing all open issues for this assessment across your organisation.
Issues that need to be updated can be selected on the right hand side of the list. Once you have chosen the issues you want to close or update, you will need to press Add bulk note/change status.
The following Change status/Add note page will then show, where you can change the status to In Progress or Closed, and also add a note if required at the same time.
The Open Issues will now no longer show on the Dashboard.
